Having almost completed my Poetic Forms Used In English project, I was thirsting for a little prose and, being a failing novelist -- my memory doesn't last that long anymore -- I thought I'd have a go at some short short forms! Living in the age of the Sound Byte, the Photo Op, and other instantaneous forms, I thought it would be fun to see how short one could be.

In addition, that which you can write in a single session, perceive in a single glance, think in a single thought, so to speak, is a delightful way to hone one's bones.

During the writing of the following 33 stories, 33 characters, 33 blood relations, I tried many experiments. But enjoy them first. Later on I may tell you a bit more about the subcutaneous delights indulged in in some of them.
