DANCING
SIVA

1986

There is nothing
but what happens
at the center of things.
Pa-tat
patapatat
patapapat
patatat-tat
pat-a-tat-tat
pata-tat-tat
pat-a-pa-tat
pat-a-pat-tat.
Mud, bronze, feet, fire.
Patapat tat
patatat tat:
Shiva dancing whatever happens
at the center of things.
"...a dagger sub k, alpha
a sub k, alpha
N sub k, alpha..."*

*The last three lines are the physicist's way of saying Brahman, Vishnu, Siva.
