PRIME TIME

4-14-00

There was a climb which he was clever to mime
slogging through the oozy slime seeking numbers in prime
for absolutely no rhyme but the great reason of impending time.

This, the antediluvians found fine, but it was not mine --
though redder than wine, with a luminoti shine.
Frankly, IUm incline toward a deep sustained recline

in the shade, green and lime, hidden from crime
and the oceans of grime where you hear the chime
without spending a dime wherever you dine.
